Gujarat is not any more dry state: Narendra Modi at Vibrant Gujarat


In Vibrant Summit 2013, Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat declared that Gujarat will no longer be dry state from 26th of January 2013.
Speaking on occasion of Vibrant Gujarat, Narendra Modi said, “Since last many years, we are facing problem because of dry state. Foreigners and Punjabis not visit our state because they don’t get wine and vodka here. We want them to come and do business with us.”
“It will give me great joy to declare that we no longer be dry state from 26th January 2013. There will be liqueur shops opened by across the gujarat by Adani Group within next 15 days. and We invite all people to come and drink “SOMRAS” together,” He added further. These is 5th Global Summit in Gujarat and Chief Minister and his team is disparately trying to generate more money across industrialist.
After this announcement, Vijay Malya, Owner of UB Group has announce to invest Rs. 26,000 Crore in Gujarat for Liqueur Shops. and decided to publish his new year calender as all models wearing “Chaniya Choli”, Treditional Gujarati Dress.
On other Hand, Congress opposed this decision by saying it’s wrong in land where Mahatma Gandhi born. Congress Spokeperson Manish Tiwari said ” It shows real communal face of Modi to take decision like this. I assume he don’t care of sentiments of Common man. It’s big blow to modi.”
